The better the quality of your paper, the greater its contribution to building your career and to creating impact in the wider world.  Starting to write high-quality research papers early in youracademic career can seem like a formidable challenge. This workshop aims to make that process easier. 

Reporting your research as a publishable paper involves ‘packaging’ your research in a form that is enticing to editors, reviewers, your target readers and perhaps also to REF panel members. This workshop considers how to do that. It will offer ‘hands on’ techniques and strategies to help you plan and manage the successful writing of a research paper to better meet the expectations of those different audiences.  This course is created by Dr Trevor Day, author of Success in Academic Writing (Palgrave Macmillan).
