Description: |
Design Thinking has been widely used in product and service design and its use in higher education can enhance curriculum design and teaching and learning innovation. Phases of Design Thinking include empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test which help to tackle ill-defined problems. Its human centred iterative approach is a fresh approach to learner centred curriculum, learning and assessment.
In the light of this, we would like to cordially invite you to join our face-to-face workshop on Design Thinking. Our facilitator Prof. Carmen Wong, the awardee of the 2020 University Grants Committee Teaching Award, will demonstrate the process of design thinking with related educational pedagogy and case examples. This interactive workshop gives you a chance to use design thinking in courses you teach and in generating ideas with other disciplines.
