As much as we hope for a return to normal, it is very likely that strict social distancing measures will remain in place in the months ahead and the “new normal” for education will be “Hybrid Teaching” – a live class where some students attend physically and some join from home via a video-conferencing tool.
This workshop aims to guide you through some potential approaches for configuring a typical classroom for hybrid teaching and suggest active learning activities to engage both in-person and remote students. We encourage you to read the “Guide to Hybrid Classrooms” prior to the workshop and bring your questions for an interactive discussion with the facilitators and fellow teachers.
