An instructor of IPL (Improving Postgraduate Learning) courses will share her experience on the preparation and administration of an invigilated online examination. The case sharing will cover the following issues and aims at facilitating the exchange of ideas and strategies that could be useful in the examination period:
- Factors affecting online examination design
- Communications between students and teachers or admin/technical staff at various stages
- Technology and back-up plans
- Exam day and what can go wrong
Tips and suggestions on spotting the potential operational challenges and measures to mitigate the risks will be shared too.
