Dr. Otis Lam is a Lecturer at the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research, with a PhD in Biology and a Master of Education. His work supports the professional development of faculty and postgraduate teaching assistants, combining hands-on training with pedagogical research and courseware development. As principal investigator on several funded projects, he focuses on AI-integrated pedagogy and design thinking, developing evidence-based approaches to teaching, assessment, and the differentiated training of graduate teaching assistants. Working collaboratively with colleagues across faculties, he contributes to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, exploring how emerging technologies can strengthen pedagogical competence and prepare educators and students for a changing educational landscape.
